SPACE Yoga is based on the original promise that through the practice of yoga you will join mind, body and spirit, or life’s essential trinity. Yoga is primarily self study; we learn to feel our bodies more fully, to unleash the body’s innate wisdom and to discover energy pathways that lead to our deepest nature. We encourage curiosity, expansion and exploration speciﬁcally to achieve the fulﬁllment that only comes with transformation. Success to us is when you achieve a more intimate relationship with yourself, where every part of you is awake, alive and aware.
I have taken classes from many teachers at SPACE and each experience has been special. As a longtime student of Celia’s I have found her to provide a safe and caring place to explore the wonders that make up each student.
I appreciate that the instructors are knowledgeable about the body…I love that classes are small and instructors can focus on our individual needs and goals. I have, over the years, since I’ve been going to classes at SPACE, seen positive changes and increased awareness in my own body.
As a longtime yoga student, I’ve had the gift of watching Celia evolve as a teacher marked by a generosity of spirit. Among the things I love most about her is her continued exploration and understanding of yoga in all its nuance, which she integrates beautifully into her own practice and her teaching.
SPACE Yoga is a wonderful place to practice yoga. The classes are small, the teachers are hands-on and the atmosphere is welcoming. Classes are adapted for student preferences and needs. A great “space” for fitness!
I have been practicing at SPACE Yoga for 2 years. Celia, Laurie, Jen and the other Yogi’s are warm, loving and great teachers! They have inspired me to continue my practice into teacher training! SPACE Yoga is my favorite part of the week!
